2012 GANG AWARDS - Vote for Best Vocal - Choir - "RIFT - Guardian Theme"

The Guardians are a spiritual group led by their conviction in the gods of Telara. I wanted something uplifting, something inspirig and a pure song sung by a talented soloist with a strong sweet voice.

This track was co-written by myself, Inon Zur and Aubrey Ashburn in my office at work. This song really was a collaboration and couldn't have come int [...]

So you're still thinking about investing in a portable digital recorder.

I've been passed some more good information links about various devices including some new information and tests with a SonyPCM-D50 vs the new Zoom H2n!

Field Recorders & External Mic Input – PCM-D50, H2n, H2 all with NT4 - by Fran Guidry

Zoom H2n $199 vs Sony PCM-D50 $470 - conclusion - pretty good bang for buck for the Zoom H2n - however, the AD/DA&#39 [...]

A handheld digital recorder finally!

Finally! I've ordered one! I'm excited!!

I usually use my Tascam HD-P2 and DPA-4011, or Sennheiser MKH-60 for field recording. My hand-held option in the past has been an old iRiver i40 with a minijack-xlr connected to a Rode NT3 which has internal 9V battery power. While it's small, it's a pain to use just as much as the larger Tascam. I was looking for a good solution that has good internal mics and a great sound.

I almost bought a ZoomH4n - but after [...]
