G.A.N.G. GDC Demo Derby

Submissions for the G.A.N.G. GDC Demo Derby are now open and will close March 13. The G.A.N.G. Demo Derby is one of the highest rated and longest running annual sessions at the GDC.  Participants bring in examples of their work, and a panel of game audio experts review their work and provide constructive feedback.  G.A.N.G. hosts two separate categories in the Demo Derby (Sound Design and Music), and GDC attendants are invited to submit to either or both.

All submissions will be considered in the order received.  We can not guarantee that all submissions will be able to be heard (so get your submission in early!).

To ensure a quicker process we will only be accepting linear entries. Full details below:

Music Demo Derby

To make a submission, create a high-bit rate mp3 of your submission with the file name Last_FirstGDC19.mp3

ALSO create a text file with your contact information with the file name Last_FirstGDC19.txt

Upload hi-bit rate MP3 files (no WAV or uncompressed files, please) to the following folder: https://www.dropbox.com/request/VZ9TiJI4Uw1ODEGM7V4S

  • All submissions must be 1 minute in length, no longer.
  • Submissions must be original work.
  • Submitter must be present in person at the demo derby to be reviewed at the derby

Sound Design Demo Derby

To make a submission, create a video where you have done all the sound design. Name the file Last_FirstGDC19.<mov,mp4>

ALSO create a text file with your contact information with the file name Last_FirstGDC19.txt

Submit videos (MP4 or MOV only please, no AVI or WMV) to the following folder: https://www.dropbox.com/request/eOXLu7PDv5WmFteiZph9
