Music composed by Winifred Phillips and produced by Winnie Waldron has just won a 2010 Hollywood Music in Media Award in the category “Best Original Song – Video Game”. The winning song is “With Hearts Sublime” from the Legend of the Guardians videogame (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment).
The awards gala took place on November 18th at The Highlands at the Kodak Theater Complex / Hollywood & Highlands Center in Hollywood, CA. The event was at capacity with composers, music supervisors, industry luminaries, celebrities and independent music artists, coming from as far away as Japan, Australia, Norway and other locations around the globe.
Presenters, hosts and VIPs included actress Jane Fonda, legendary producer Richard Perry and rock star Gilby Clarke (Guns & Roses, “Rockstar: Supernova”), among others.
The official soundtrack album of the Legend of the Guardians videogame was released on October 26th by WaterTower Music, the record label of Warner Bros.
The album offers over 53 minutes of music from the game, and is available for download via iTunes.
