In contest for “Coolest Guy in Game Audio”, Richie Nieto has just finished a month long contract gig at EA Salt Lake, designing and implementing sound, plus writing music for three new Nintendo DS titles from Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop series. Jeff Essex was a featured speaker and judge at the 10th Annual Flash Festival, hosted by West Liberty University in West Virginia. Entries came from over 20 colleges in six states, in categories that included Interactive Games, Experimental Video and Electronic Music. Jeff was joined by Robert St. Pierre (Production Designer for Disney Feature Animation, with credits on “9” and “Princess and the Frog”) along with Christian D’Andrea (VP of Production for Quentin Tarantino’s “A Band Apart”).
