GDC DEMO DERBY PANELS

This year we are taking ALL demo derby submissions online through the GANG site in order to spend more time on your submissions during the panels, and less time queuing up tracks & introducing the submissions.

The submission window for both the Sound Design and Music Composition Demo Derbywill open FEBRUARY11th at 10 AM Pacific Time and we will take submissions until FEBRUARY 20th at 10 pm Pacific Time. We will accept 20 submissions for each derby panel, but we cannot guarantee that everyone’s demo will get played at the panel, but by making these changes we will do our best to get to everyone’s work. No submissions will be accepted at GDC before the panel begins, as in previous years

Submission links will be announced on the site and via email on FEBRUARY 11th.

The GANG Student/Apprentice contest is open to all GANG members who have not yet received compensation for any work in the game industry, which are usually our Student level or Apprentice level members. Prizes will include donated plugins, instrument libraries and SFX libraries, but these have not yet been confirmed (past prizes include Cinesamples, Nine Volt Audio, Boom Library, Propellerhead, Audiobro and more). They will be really cool though. If you are attending GDC you will be able to pick up your prize at the awards show. The rules and details…after the jump
