George Oldziey has been a professional musician since the age of 14. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Trumpet Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Masters Degree in Composition from Texas State University.

In 1994, George joined the ranks of Origin/Electronic Arts, for whom he composed the scores for some of the most iconic video game titles in the industry; Wing Commander3, Wing Commander 4, Wing Commander; Prophecy and Ultima Ascension. Other video game music credits include Spongebob Squarepants for Playstation 2, a full orchestral score for the online game Shaiya (Sha-EE-yah), Red Faction; Guerilla and Crimson Alliance.

George began working with film director Robert Rodriguez in 2002 for whom his music credits include Spy Kids 2, Spy Kids 3, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Kill Bill Vol.2, Sin City 1 and 2, Grindhouse – Planet Terror, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, Shorts, and the Dusk til Dawn TV series. He has also scored many award winning documentaries, some of which have appeared on the History Channel and Discovery as well as at major film festivals.

George also serves as a recording/mixing engineer and music producer in his Austin-based Greenhaven Studio, where he has worked with many illustrious artists of all musical genres. After having served on the music faculty at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX for 18 years, George joined the ranks of the audio production faculty at the Art Institute of Austin in 2011.
